Question by kiwimango_03: sexyhealthyhair soy tri wheat leave in conditioner any good?? what are good hair care products?
My hair is EXTREMELY damaged and I have split ends half way up to my hair.
I feel like it’s growing really slow but I’m trying to grow it out!! What are some good hair products?
I’ve used chi silk infusion (good stuff), biosilk (okay…), origins conditioning oil (pretty good), paul mitchell super skinny serum (not good) What should I use for damaged hair to make it silky and healthy?

In any drug store, you can buy products called Organix. Every ingredient is natural and safe for all hair types. Their products are extremely cheap, too.

Tía Abuela Rosa

Oscar’s great aunt Rosa has a fierce and beautiful spirit. She is in her late 70s and still spends every day on her feet, working in the kitchen, carrying heavy things, taking care of her grandchildren. She told us stories about slaughtering pigs and sheep, helping her parents grow and cook food, and her husband’s death. This picture shows her compassion.
Hiding under the bed — Loki still

They replaced our patio door yesterday as part of the condo’s mantaince plan, so we had to move all the furniture away from the window. This got the cats worked up, so they were already wired when the banging started. They first replaced our neighbour on one side. When they came to our house I rounded the cats up and sealed them into the bedroom.
Freya (my black cat) was especially upset by this and would spend 20 minutes looking for a hiding spot. Rest in the spot for twenty minutes, breathing heavy and panicked before looking for a new spot.
Places she tried (as was cute doing so but I wasn’t willing to take a picture as I was too busy trying to calm her) include inside a pillow case, pillow still in it too so she couldn’t really turn around easy. Under the sheets on the bed, but first she had to dig them out because they were tucked in. A couple of shelves, under the bed, in the closet (I opened this for her actually because I really thought she needed to find someplace ‘safe’ to calm down). None of these offered her long term rest.
All the cats were under the bed, Freya only briefly. Loki the whole time (and five hours later too)
All the cats were under the bed, Freya only briefly. Loki the whole time (and five hours later too), Danya because that’s where she sleeps during the day. She didn’t seem to care about this in the end. Freya hid later in the cat tree and didn’t come out of that until after 9pm.

Q&A: How to take care of curly hair?
Question by Miss Independent: How to take care of curly hair?
So, I wash my curly hair at night. Now, I know I shouldn’t comb or brush my curly hair because it will cause breakage and frizz, but how would i get those knots out? Or any other suggestions to take care of curly hair?
Best answer:
Answer by voluntarilyunconcious
Try using a curl defining shampoo and conditioner.. it willhelp you control the frizz and the tangles..
If not use a straightening shampoo and take some of the bounce out of your hair for better styling…
As for brushing.. dont use a brush thats a little rough on curly hair try using a double spaced comb… its called a pick!

And You Thought YOUR Christmas Was Bad…

No, Cowboy was not actually tossed from Santa’s sleigh. Even though he often acts as if he’s landed on his head, he really hasn’t!
Twas the Night before Christmas also known as A Visit from St. Nicholas
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Dasher! Now Dancer!
Now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid!
On, Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch!
To the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away!
Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of toys and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.
His eyes–how they twinkled! His dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke, it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
Clement Clarke Moore (1779 – 1863) wrote this poem in 1822.

no where to go, no one to see (not that I greatly care!) so I wore my comfies…
this may look completely set-up, however as I was finishing up my morning read/devotionals I suddenly realized what a great shot it would make. So I set the camera on the couch, and this was only the 3rd try!
what we have here:
* light blue innie (from Sierra Trading Post)
* Old Navy pink penguin fleece pants (picked these up post xmas, on super-sale, with a gift card)
* fuzzy leopard-print slippers (I originally grabbed these in preparation for a visit to the Miles’ in Dodson, knowing how cold they keep their home… my toes have been happy ever since!)
